What is pinqit?
pinqit is a simple way to share temporary content, quickly and without friction.
You paste text, upload a file, or add a link, and pinqit generates a short code. Anyone with that code can access the content until it expires.
No accounts. No apps. No setup.
Why pinqit exists
Not every situation is designed for sharing.
Sometimes you need to pass content between devices, people, or contexts where traditional tools aren't practical — or simply aren't available. Platforms may require accounts, apps, permissions, or permanent links when all you need is a quick, temporary handoff.
pinqit exists for those moments.
It provides a lightweight way to share content briefly, without committing it to a platform, profile, or history. A short PIN is easy to type, say out loud, or send as plain text — even in constrained environments.

Files are limited in size (10MB for most files, up to 50MB for video). pinqit is designed for temporary sharing, not long-term storage.
What pinqit is not
pinqit is not cloud storage. It is not a backup service. It is not a secure or encrypted file-transfer system.
Content shared through pinqit should be treated as semi-public. PINs are short and randomly generated, but they are not passwords and content is not end-to-end encrypted.
Do not use pinqit for confidential, sensitive, or private information.
This is a utility — not a platform.
Privacy and expiration
All content expires automatically after 24 hours. Once expired, it is deleted and cannot be recovered.
pinqit does not require user accounts and does not collect personal information. We do not track who views content and we do not provide analytics for individual PINs.
Content that violates applicable laws or terms may be removed without notice.
A deliberately small tool
pinqit is intentionally minimal. It focuses on one job: temporary sharing with as little friction as possible.
If you need permanence, advanced permissions, or high security, there are better tools for that.
