Frequently Asked Questions
What is pinqit?
pinqit is a utility that allows users to share content temporarily using a short PIN code instead of a URL. Content can include text, files, images, videos, or links. Each PIN provides access to the associated content until it expires.
Why use a PIN instead of a link?
A PIN is short, easy to type, and simple to communicate verbally or in plain text. It does not require copying or clicking a URL and works in situations where sharing links may not be practical.
How long is content available?
All content expires automatically after 24 hours from the time of creation. After expiration, the content is deleted and the PIN becomes inactive.
Do I need to create an account?
No. pinqit does not require registration, login, or any form of account creation. Content can be shared immediately without providing personal information.
Is the content private?
Content shared through pinqit should be treated as semi-public. PINs are randomly generated but are not passwords. Anyone with the PIN can access the content. Do not share confidential or sensitive information.
What types of content can be shared?
pinqit supports text, images, PDF documents, videos, and links. File size limits apply: up to 10MB for most files and up to 50MB for videos.
Can I share links through pinqit?
Yes. You can submit a URL, and pinqit will generate a PIN that redirects to that link. pinqit does not verify, scan, or endorse external links.
Is pinqit designed to bypass platform rules or restrictions?
No. pinqit is a general-purpose utility for temporary content sharing. Users are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of any platforms or services they use. pinqit should not be used to circumvent rules, restrictions, or moderation systems.
What happens when content expires?
When content expires, it is permanently deleted from the system. The associated PIN becomes inactive and cannot be reused. Expired content cannot be recovered.
Why was my PIN removed before expiration?
Content may be removed before expiration if it violates the terms of service or applicable laws. This includes illegal content, malware, phishing, copyrighted material shared without authorization, or content involving harm or exploitation.
